About the event

The Trinity Centre, in collaboration with the Welsh Refugee Council’s Parent and Toddler Group, Aurora Trinity Art Group and Space4U will be hosting the Trinity Tree project. Using the template or creating their own, we ask families in Cardiff and beyond to decorate a tree with leaves, and share it  in their windows to value and welcome asylum seekers and refugees in Wales.  Our message is “Each leaf is unique and has its own story, but all leaves come together to make fantastic trees.” We aim to create a forest of welcome for asylum seekers and refugees in Cardiff.

All photos sent to Trinity Centre will appear online on our social media gallery to showcase trees that appear across the city. These will be displayed online from 15th – 21st of June to celebrate Refugee Week.
