Hostile is an award-winning feature-length documentary written, produced and directed by BAFTA-longlisted filmmaker Sonita Gale. You can watch the trailer here. The film follows the experience of four people and demonstrates how the UK Government’s ‘hostile environment’ immigration policy drastically effects peoples lives. We see this firsthand at Oasis, and the film remains pertinent given the increasingly hostile environment created by the Rwanda Asylum Plan and the Illegal immigration bill.
